Architecturally distinctive, Rose Hill is an over-600-foot full-service condominium tower in Manhattan for developer Rockefeller Group. Located within the buzzing NoMad neighbourhood of 30 East 29th Street, the tower will honour the city’s rich history of skyscraper architecture, whilst looking towards the future.
The building has been designed for contemporary urban living through an expressive glass, metal and terra-cotta façade, and the latest in market-responsive amenities and interior layouts.
With 45 storeys and 123 residential units, the project will be a new and exciting presence on the New York skyline. This is reflected by the bronze-tone cladding, distinctive setbacks, and chevron-patterned vertical elements. Decorative lighting – inspired by Rockefeller Group’s landmark developments – will illuminate the tower’s base and crown, highlighting its unique form.
Inspiration for Rose Hill was drawn from CetraRuddy’s experience in new tower design and residential conversions of historic landmarks which create desirable urban homes that reflects New York’s authentic attitude.
Three floors contain dedicated amenity space designed to enrich social and active lifestyles, and embrace an atmosphere of community. The tower includes a library curated by Strand Books, and the Blue Room – a private bar/lounge at lobby-level. The 37th floor is occupied entirely by an “observatory” resident lounge with spacious terraces and captivating views of the skyline.
Other facilities the building offers include a wellness center, a bike room with workshop space, and a landscaped garden courtyard. The wellness center is made up of a 50-foot pool, gym, squash court, and sauna.
The residential units in the tower range from studios to four-bedroom apartments, including a few penthouses. All of the residences have hardwood floors, Calacatta Razzi marble countertops, bronze and gold finishes, large windows and ceilings. The design’s emphasis is on flexibility and adaptability within the apartment layouts. CetraRuddy’s interior design solutions also include sliding opaque doors to create privacy, whilst maintaining a sense of openness.
The completion of the tower is anticipated for 2021.
